With more than 30 years of experience in the professional janitorial industry in California, Ivan has advanced through successive leadership roles, working with some of the most recognized companies in the field. He has transformed businesses over the past three decades, driving success and establishing partnerships with many North American and global client brands.
Ivan’s expertise spans a wide range of environments, including commercial office, retail, media space, entertainment venues, studios, and technology facilities. He has experience negotiating contracts, ensuring continuity while balancing workforce relations and business objectives.
Ivan enjoys time with his family, auto racing and outdoor activities.
Steve began his career in 2000 in Orange County. In 2005 he took over accounts in Downtown Los Angeles as a Project Manager with OneSource. He was quickly promoted to a Branch Manager and oversaw 25 million feet of Class A Commercial Office, Medical, Educational, Sports/Entertainment and Government accounts. Later, he was in charge of 70 million feet in the Greater Los Angeles areas as well as overseeing the Southern Nevada market. In his 25 years Steve has led multiple local, regional and international BOMA TOBY award winning accounts. He specializes in transitioning large accounts with seamless results giving premiere service along with exceptional cost savings to his clients.
His true passion lies in being a devoted husband, Poppa to a 16 year old son and his two adorable bulldogs.
Pilar oversees the operational and financial structure of Metro’s Southern California operations, leading the Southern Branch Janitorial Operations Team. He implements company systems while driving efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives.
With over 25 years of experience in the housekeeping and janitorial industry, Pilar began his career in hospitality in 2001, working with renowned brands such as Hilton, Marriott, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Hyatt. In 2007, he transitioned into healthcare, contributing his expertise at both non-profit and for-profit hospitals like Aramark, Dignity Health, and Universal Health Services Inc. in Southern California.
In 2015, Pilar founded the Southern California chapter of the International Executive Housekeepers Association Inc. (IEHA) and served as its president for two years. He then entered the sports and entertainment sector with Hollywood Park Management, where he oversaw the maintenance of 300 acres, including 890,000 square feet of retail and office space, NFL headquarters, luxury residences, public parks, and the iconic SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater.
In his free time, Pilar enjoys spending time with his large family of seven siblings. He is also pursuing a dual Master’s degree at Grand Canyon University. An avid outdoorsman, Pilar has competed in hockey in Southern California for over 30 years.
