Erik embarked on his engineering journey in 2005, starting as a Utility Engineer in downtown San Francisco. Over the next eight years, he gained hands-on experience through the Apprenticeship program to a Stationary Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer before transitioning into engineering management in 2013. In this role, he has overseen various facility engineering departments, including Class-A offices, Life Sciences, healthcare, hospitality, and residential buildings.
Erik's commitment to professional development is evident in his extensive certifications from institutions like the PG&E Pacific Energy Center where he completed and guest speaks at the EBCx program, Local 39 and BOMI where he is a past instructor.
Erik is passionate about outdoor winter and summer sports, classic cars, live music and cherishes time spent with his friends and family outside of work.
